Versailles, the Beautiful.

There are things about Versailles I don’t even try to understand; for example, I often fancy this statue emerge out of the fog somewhere along the Central Alley. Right across from it, Milon de Crotone; but if butt-biting of the Olympic champion sooner or later brings a smile on my face, this Saving of Andromeda leaves me dumbfounded. The good news: Rumor has it the Louvre wants to send Perseus and Andromeda back to Versailles. I can’t wait.
